Some people say that a bad environment is a better test of product quality. In August 2022, the hottest day of the year, hundreds of switches of Giant Union were installed in Uman wind power and photovoltaic power station in Inner Mongolia for network communication, security perimeter and video surveillance.

The NIE5244TSGM3 and NIE8082PGM switches used in this project are the key products of Jutlian Company, which have been on the market for many years and are mature and stable. The product has many measures in place for reliable use in harsh environments.

1. High and low temperature environment. Julian industrial switches all adopt industrial chips, no fan heat dissipation. The product can pass the wide temperature from -40℃ to 75℃, high and low temperature alternating, humid and hot working environment test.

2. IP40 protection. In view of the outdoor wind and sand, insects and ants, entering the product is easy to cause product failure, the whole system of industrial switches all adopt the sealed structure design. 

3. Network management function. Switches provide common network management functions, such as port management, VLAN, QoS, SNMP, and ACL, and are managed using the CLI and web UI. 

4, static electricity and lightning protection. The switch is equipped with 8KV electrostatic protection and 6KV surge protection. 

5. ERPS ring network. Mega industrial switches are equipped with various ring network modes, including STP, RSTP, MSTP, EAPS, and ERPS.

In terms of technical support, our technical support personnel actively cooperate with customers in network planning and help customers configure network management switches. In order to enhance network reliability and network redundancy, ERPS ring network is set, and the convergence time is 20ms. 

After a few days of debugging, the project was delivered smoothly. After nearly a month of operation, the performance of the system is stable.
